PTR supports Berwick Cancer Cars in their commitment to the Great North Run
PTR Ltd was extremely proud to support Berwick Cancer Cars in this year’s Great North Run, which took place on Sunday 11th September 2022.
The charity, based in Berwick-upon-Tweed, provides invaluable transport to those with a cancer diagnosis, living in Berwick & District, to enable them to reach their cancer treatment appointments to both regional hospitals and for specialist cancer treatment further afield.
The Berwick & District Cancer Support Group is very proud to have been awarded ‘The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service’ at a ceremony at Buckingham Palace, recently.
What is also very special is that PTR Director Rob Aitchison’s Mum Maureen Aitchison, was running her seventh time in this famous race! Maureen celebrates her 70th birthday next month!
